How early and late can we rent Clise Mansion?
The facility may be rented as early as 7:00 AM and as late as 11:00 PM. All setup, décor installation, catering access, and clean-up must take place within your reserved rental time. Events cannot extend beyond 11:00 PM.
Is there parking available?
A parking lot is located near Clise Mansion within Marymoor Park. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and guests may pay the park’s $1 per-space fee upon arrival. If you would like to reserve the lot exclusively for your event, you may prepay the $1 per-space fee, which will be added to your final bill.
Do you require specific caterers or vendors?
No, we do not require the use of specific caterers or vendors. Clise Mansion is a beautiful blank canvas for your event. We provide the space, access for setup, and on-site assistance throughout your event. All other elements (including catering, linens, décor, florals, and rentals) are up to you to select and arrange.
Is there heating and air conditioning?
Yes, there is both.
Who is responsible for setup and clean-up?
If you are using the facility’s tables and chairs, the space will be set up and cleaned up for you. Any furniture, serviceware, or equipment rented from an outside vendor must be coordinated directly by the renter. All décor setup and tear-down is the renter’s responsibility and must take place within the reserved rental time.
Can we hang decorations inside the facility?
Yes, decorations may be hung using 3M painter’s tape only, due to the historic nature of the building. Nails, tacks, staples, or any other adhesives are not permitted. S-hooks, window suction cups, and similar non-damaging methods may be used. String lights are allowed.
Can we use real candles?
Open flames are not permitted. Electric and battery-operated candles are allowed.
Can we set up tents outside?
Yes, but all tents must be weighted, and no spikes may be used to anchor the tents in the ground due to the possibility of historical artifacts in the ground.
What is included in the bar service?
Bar service includes bar setup, drink ordering based on your selections, and a professional bartender. All necessary bar equipment, including ice, is provided. Glassware is not included and must be rented separately.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
No. All alcohol and bar service must be provided by Clise and served by our licensed employees. We offer both hosted and cash bar options for your guests.
Can we have music/ band?
Music cannot be audible beyond the Marymoor grounds. Outside Music (90 dba or less) must cease outside at 10:00 p.m. Music (70 Dba or less) is permitted inside until 11pm.
Is there a dance floor?
Not a separate dance floor, but the floor inside the facility is hardwood and makes a perfect dance surface in the Great Room.
Can we have a BBQ outside?
Yes, you can set up a BBQ outside on the brick courtyard. We require a mat be placed under the BBQ while cooking.
What if we cancel our booking?
Clise Mansion does have a cancellation policy. Please be sure that you are certain you want the facility before booking it. We highly recommend that you view the facility before booking it.
